  1. How many photos will fit on my 1GB memory card?
    This all depends on your digital camera settings and the resolution set to take photographs. Based upon an average photograph file size of 256k, you would be able to hold approximately an incredible 4096 photographs on a 1GB memory card. You can determine the file size of your photos by looking at the files on your computer using say Windows Explorer, or by pressing the detail button on the digital photo frame remote control, this will display the file name size and other information.
  2. What is the best way to clean the LCD screen?
    Gently wipe the LCD screen with a soft, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth, such as a camera lens cloth or similar. Do not use liquids of any find on the LCD screen.
  3. Can I rotate a picture on the screen?
    On most of our frames it is possible to both zoom and rotate the image. Use the rotate button on the remote control to turn the image 90 degrees clockwise, each button depression will further rotate the picture. Using the zoom button it is possible to focus on the detail of an image, and using the arrow buttons move the display within the image. Pressing the play button will resume the frame slide show.
  4. Do digital photo frames have built-in memory?
    Generally no, but some such as our desk and portable frames do have built-in memory; see the ‘Internal Memory’ section in each of the product descriptions.
  5. How are digital photo frame screen sizes measured?
    In common with most other electronic equipment with a screen (TVs, computer monitors, mobile phones etc) the screen size is measured diagonally, corner to corner.
  6. What is the maximum file size a digital frame can display?
    This varies from frame to frame but most frames can handle 12mb, although this is likely to increase over time.
  7. Can I play MP3's files while viewing my photos?
    Yes, if you choose a frame with this function. On our Omega range, just press the music start button on the remote control, sometimes marked with a single musical 'note', and the sound will play in the background; volume can be controlled using the remote control.
  8. Can I play video files stored on memory cards?
    On most frames you can play MPEG-1, 2 & 4 video such as that recorded on a mobile phone. The product descriptions on our web site will detail what types of video playing capability is available.
  9. Can I insert multiple memory cards?
    Yes. Turn off the frame before you insert or remove memory cards. When powered on, the screen will show what types of memory cards are in the slots. Use the remote control to select the memory card.
  10. Other Features
    It is possible to use a digital photo frame for business presentations. Microsoft PowerPoint presentations can be saved as JPG files and moved onto a memory card, along with photographs, video and sound files to create an innovative and interesting presentation tool.
